What I do as a leadership development specialist, coach, educator and speaker:

background swoosh-09

I design, deliver and evaluate leadership development courses and programs.

These courses/programs include face-to-face, online and blended program designs. I have designed and built courses/programs for emerging leaders and executive leaders, as well as open enrolment and bespoke in-house courses/programs. These products include postgraduate university courses linked to Master degree and Graduate Certificate programs, as well as non-degree courses/programs ranging from one-day masterclasses to 10 month feedback intensive leadership development programs.

The focus of these courses/programs has been broad. To date, they have including topics such as self-leadership (e.g. resilience, emotional intelligence and time management), ethical leadership, purpose-driven leadership, sustainability leadership, power and influence, social networking, team leadership, authentic leadership, innovation leadership, key communication skills, adaptive leadership, servant leadership, champion-driven leadership, situational leadership, strategic leadership, and leading in a crisis.

I have a particular interest in sustainability leadership, ethical leadership, purpose-driven leadership and emergent leadership (e.g. the champion phenomenon).

Let's start working
on your leadership
development challenge.

I engage in coaching and mentoring.

I undertake individual and group coaching with a leadership development focus. I do most of my coaching with people who are participating in a leadership course/program I am facilitating, but also coach leaders outside of such courses/programs. A typical coaching relationship might involve working confidentially with a coachee for three one hour sessions over 2 to 3 months, and focus on 1-3 key leadership challenges.

In addition to coaching I frequently mentor developing leaders, especially emerging leaders in the sustainability and water sectors. Often, this mentoring is linked to leadership development courses I facilitate.

I deliver thought leadership workshops, masterclasses and presentations.

I design and facilitate short workshops, masterclasses and thought leadership presentations to clients, both face-to-face and online, on those leadership topics for which I have a high level of knowledge and/or experience.

These include sustainability leadership, leadership in the water sector (including at the Board level), ethical leadership, purpose-driven leadership, the importance of trust in leadership, aspects of self-leadership (e.g. resilience) and strategies to accelerate one’s growth as a leader.
